ADN Galería participates in Zona MACO 2026 as part of the inaugural edition of
FORMA, a new section dedicated to the intersection of art and design. For this first
edition, the gallery presents a tightly curated selection of unique works and limited
editions that move between sculpture, furniture, jewelry, and architecture.
The presentation unfolds through a shared exploration of form, material, and
meaning. From Gerda Gruber’s investigation into the natural structures that sustain
life—embodied in the Mesa Mangle and her sculptural stools inspired by protective
archetypes such as the “Aluxes”
—to works where sculpture emancipates itself from
the pedestal and enters the realm of function.
This dialogue continues through the symbolic intensity of the Maquizcóatl bronze
and Byzantine mosaic table, where Mesoamerican color and form converge with a
modernism charged with myth; the organic, sculptural language of Shoemaker’s bar
stools; the boundary-blurring pieces of Pal Kepenyes, where sculpture and jewelry
become inseparable; and a key work by Juan O’Gorman, an artist who refused to
be defined by a single discipline. Presented as singular works or strictly limited
editions, these pieces invite an immediate encounter—and an equally immediate
decision—marking FORMA’s inaugural edition as a rare moment of convergence
between art, design, and collectibility.
